We are trained to work hard to get what we want. Don't be so hard on yourself.... your sweet heart and willingness to follow God shows. I think that you spend MANY times in God's stillness. In all my studying of Chronicles one of the situations/verses that sticks out to me the most is in 2 Chronicles 20 when King Jehoshaphat is going to battle against the Moabites & Ammonites. He knows that there is nothing they can do but they're focus is on God & God promises that they won't have to fight at all because God will fight for them. Then comes v.22: "And when they began to sing & praise, the Lord set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, & Mount Seir, who had come against Judah..."
All they had to do was WORSHIP THE LORD! How cool is that??
My own note that I put in the margin for myself was "What do I have to worry about?? Judah literally did nothing but sing & praise...& the enemies were defeated by the Lord!"
All that to say...there are a whole lot of incredible promises & EXAMPLES of believers doing nothing but trusting in the Lord & the Lord, in return, fighting their battles for them. So so good.
So so proud of you! You're such a great mommy & wife (& sis-in-law!) & your faith is encouraging to so many others! Myself definitely included. I think we're all very excited and inspired by your faith!

And wondering about the future is not the same as worrying or doubting, so don't be too hard on yourself. You're allowed to WONDER how God is going to do it all, as long as your wondering takes you to the place of joy and not fretting.

Love you all so much!

MomJulie Spanglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01642673827158198730noreply@blogger.com
