Today I was working on my sewing and I was listening to my worship music on Pandora. I was deep in thought about some emails that I received from the adoption agency. There is a lot to process, and it can quickly become overwhelming. Through the sea of thoughts the Lord spoke to me, through this song:

 Come to Me, I'm all you need.

Come to Me, I'm your everything

Come to Me, I'm your everything  

And it is as simple as that. I forget sometimes that, the more I think about something, the more complicated it seems to become. The more I think about the process of adoption and all of the money we need to have, the more complicated my journey will become. Doing what God calls you to do should not be complicated. When things get complicated, that means there is more you and me in the equation than there is God. All I have to do is simply come to Him. He is my everything, and He is all that I will ever need. The only thing He asks is to be still, and listen to His still, small sweet voice saying, "Come to Me, I'm your Everything."
